ArrowCat 30 to Prowl the Norwalk International In-Water Boat ShowCALIFORNIA-The ArrowCat 30 will be on display in the Multihull Lagoon at the 38th Annual Newport International Boat Show, September 11-14, 2008. Located in the Lagoon next to The Moorings Restaurant, the 30-foot power catamaran joins ranks with more than a dozen, spotlighted multihull vessels. Since its introduction at the Miami International and Sanctuary Cove boat shows, the family cruiser has impressed customers, dealers and the competition with its tough New Zealand design, family-friendly layout, speed and fuel efficiency. Powered by 175 HP engines up to 40 knots, this roomy and economical cruiser provides a stable, dry ride even in extreme conditions. With the ArrowCat 30's popularity outpacing production, the manufacturer is poised for steady growth in the next decade. As visitors to the Multihull Lagoon will see, the Roger Hill-designed power catamaran has combined the latest technology, highest quality materials and finest construction methods to produce an international contender. "In terms of versatility, we designed it for optimum flexibility," says Hill, principal of Roger Hill Yacht Design, New Zealand. "We designed the boat for maximum spaciousness with a planing hull that performs and handles well, that can carry a wide range of power and that still cruises safely at speeds up to 50 knots." Working in concert with Hill's high-performance hull, High Modulus engineered the ArrowCat 30 to the highest structural standards such that the stylish catamaran can fish offshore as easily as take the family cruising. "One hundred percent hand laid by skilled craftsman, using the best materials available in the global market, the ArrowCat's structural integrity is far greater than if one relied on Western building techniques such as spraying chop and rapid build practices," observes High Modulus CEO Richard Downes-Honey. In addition to its performance and safety, the ArrowCat 30 is also known for its spacious and comfortable interior. The innovative layout features a double stateroom and dual, adult-size midship berths along with a generous head and shower. It also offers a large, open cockpit, cabin/helm station and galley as well as loads of storage space. Visit the ArrowCat 30 at the Multihull Lagoon adjacent to The Moorings Restaurant.
